Our organization is looking to implement Universal Records Manager (10g). We have a requirement that I'm not sure the product can be configured to meet. Here's the scenario.

Let's say there is an organization wide record category. Multiple companies will be filing their records into this category. We need the capability for each company's records to be isolated so that the disposition (destruction) can only be handled by the company that added the record. Here's an example.

Category1
-CompanyA
-CompanyB

Both CompanyA and CompanyB add records to Category1. After the retention period the records are ready to be destroyed. CompanyA needs to see only their records in the "My Retention Assignments" (under My Content Server). Same for CompanyB.

It appears that the product is designed so the Filer (Author) of the Category is the only one that receives notifications and Retention Assignments for the entire Category. We need to get more granular with our security. Some companies might be okay with letting one Records Manager (Filer) handle their dispositions. But other companies want to handle the dispositions themselves.

Have I missed something in the documentation? I have also searched through Metalink and can't find any good information on this. Please Advise.
